Another racing weekend for me...5th race for Austrian nats is in the books. We were on nice track in Wiener Neudorf, where really hot weather awaited as we had 38 degrees in the shade, and the track had more than 57degrees. So everything was on limits...materials as well as drivers, from which everyone had its own way of cooling down. Some used cold shower, others were using wet towels... Training itself was really good for me, as I was able to improve my lap times for more than a second during the day. So I found a suitable setup for this conditions. We also had some great âśbattlesâť with my friends. At the evening or late afternoon most of us packed our things sooner than usual, because it was really unpleasable to roast on such sun, and we werenâ™t 100% focused on racing.

At the end, I finished on 3rd position, after my own mistakes, Iâ™ve missed 2nd place for just 0.1s. There is only one more race in Linz to the end of the season, where everything will decide whether or not I will be 2nd overall in Austrian nationals.
